The Asbury Park Environmental Shade Tree Commission (ESTC) has created a new heart-shaped garden on the southwest plot of Kennedy Park on Lake Avenue to honor Asbury Park's lost pets. The shape is in honor of the love that we who have had pets knew while they were with us.
The garden will be planted with perennial flowers and sign will be installed to mark the new "Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial Garden."
Asbury Park residents who would like to have a perennial flower planted in memory of his/her pet can do so by donating $15 (per pet) to “The Friends of the Asbury Park ESTC."
Volunteers from the ESTC will purchase and plant the perennials.
Please note space is limited.
Donations can be sent to: Friends of the APESTC, 1607 Emory Street, Asbury Park, NJ 07712
