City of Asbury Park Applications Being Accepted For Community Development Block Grant Program
Notice is given herewith that the City of Asbury Park’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is accepting applications for FY-2022 funding. Please note that the amount of funds allocated to the City is yet to be determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The purpose of the Federal CDBG Program is to undertake eligible activities that will carry out the primary objectives of Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. These objectives are designed to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and to expand economic opportunities primarily for person of low and moderate income. Low and moderate income is defined as person making 80% or less of the area median income in Asbury Park.

- Public Facility Capital Improvements-Non-Profit Agencies
Applications can be found at www.cityofasburypark.com/cdbg, or picked up from the Community Development Block Grant Office, 1 Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, NJ 07712, 2nd floor. The deadline for submitting-an-application for CDBG funding is Friday, October 22, 2021 at 5 P.M. Postmarks will not be accepted.
