2022 Asbury Park Beach Season starts Memorial Day Weekend
To access the beach, beach passes (badges or wristbands) must be worn at all times and will be checked on your way onto the sand. Beach passes are required starting Saturday 5/28/22 at 9am through Sunday, 6/12/22 on weekends and holidays only; and every day from Monday, 6/13/22 through Monday, 9/5/22. Beach passes will not be required to access the beach starting on Tuesday, 9/6/22. Based on weather and staffing availability, lifeguards may still be on duty after Labor Day Weekend.
2022 Season Beach Badge rates: Adults $70; Seniors (62+ with valid ID) $20; Teens (13-17) $20. 2022 Daily Beach Pass rates: Monday to Friday $6; Weekends and Holidays $9. Children 12 and under are free, but must be supervised by an adult. Active Military personnel and their dependents are free. Retired, disabled and non-active veterans are free.
Season beach badges are on sale through the Viply mobile app (www.viplypass.com). They can also be purchased in-person at the Beach Office (First Avenue on the Boardwalk) from 10am to 4pm daily. Season beach badge sales will continue throughout the season. Daily beach passes will be available for sale through the Viply mobile app starting Memorial Day Weekend.
The 7th Avenue playground has been updated and is now open. The playgrounds located at 2nd and 7th Avenues are free of charge and a beach pass is not required to access them.
In an effort to keep our beaches clean, we strongly encourage beach-goers to do their part to help and always carry out what you carried in.
