FY-2023 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)

LEGAL NOTICE

In compliance with the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, the City of Asbury Park will submit its FY-2023 Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or before May 17^th 2023.

Asbury Park’s Draft Annual Action Plan for FY-2023 will describe housing and community activities that the City will pursue during the coming fiscal year.  The Annual Action Plan will also indicate the number of individuals and households that the City anticipates that it will serve and describe the plan for implementation and geographic location activities. 

The City of Asbury Parks Citizen Participation Plan requires a 30-day public comment period on Annual Action Plan submissions. The comment period will start on March 30^th and continue through and include April 29^th 2023.

A Draft Copy of the FY-2023 Annual Action Plan will be available on the Department of Community Development Block Grant webpage located at www.cityofasburypark.com. 

The City has a proposed budget of $405,475 in Community Development Block Grant funds for

FY-2023.  The City will hold a zoom hearing on its Draft Annual Action Plan and proposed projects and activities on Thursday, April 13^th 2023 at 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
