Earlier this month, Mayor John Moor and City Engineer Jason Harzold attended the monthly Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners Meeting to accept a grant in the amount of $250,000 through the Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant program. The funding will be used for improvements to the playground at Fourth Avenue and Heck Street and a Library Square Park Fountain rehabilitation project.
