The City of Asbury Park’s Quality of Life Committee would like to thank HABCore and Hazlet Home Depot for their work renovating Laurel House on 2nd Avenue in Asbury Park. Through the partnership, the first floor of the congregate living property has received new windows and floors, paint, window coverings and porch furniture. Hazlet Home Depot has also provided materials for renovation of the 2nd and 3rd floors.
“This has been a great collaboration between HABcore, Home Depot and the Asbury Park Quality of Life Committee,” said Councilmember Yvonne Clayton, “We’re so excited about what’s being accomplished here and making this a warm and welcoming place for the residents.”
The Asbury Park Quality of Life Committee and HABCore will be coordinating a volunteer day for work on the upper two floors. To sign up to volunteer, email yvonne.clayton@cityofasburypark.com.
