Deal Lake Commission Environmental Scientist, Dr Steve Souza will give a presentation to the public on "Invasive Weeds: Reasons and Methods to Treat” during the Feb DLC meeting.The public is invited to learn about invasive weeds that grow in Deal Lake, the reasons to control them and safe methods that the DLC can use for treating them. Q & A will follow.

The Deal Lake Commission will give a presentation to the Asbury Park City Council at the February 26th Council Meeting on the Water Quality and Restoration 319 Grant. The grant provides for the installation of new green and grey infrastructure in Deal Lake, Kingsley Lake and Wesley Lake. The public is encouraged to attend to gain an understanding the goals of the grant, the value of grey and green infrastructure to storm water management and their role in improving the water quality of all Asbury Park’s lakes.
