Update on Short Term Rentals Suspension and Hotel, Motel & Guest House Reservations Suspension

6/29/2020 – Update on Short Term Rentals Suspension and Hotel, Motel & Guest House Reservations Suspension 

As previously mentioned, short-term rentals (such as promulgated through services including AirBNB, VRBO and HomeAway), and other vacation rentals whether online, in-person, by Realtor or Owner transaction, which have been suspended since April 1, 2020, were able to resume starting June 25, 2020.

New, all hotel, motel and bed-and-breakfast reservations, which were previously suspended since Friday, April 17, 2020, and were able to resume partial occupancy starting June 25, 2020, may now resume full occupancy starting Thursday, July 2, 2020.

These policies are per an Emergency Declaration signed by the City of Asbury Park OEM Director on 6/26/20 and are subject to change in accordance with the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.
