Small Business Recovery Programs

  • Asbury Park Small Business Micro Recovery Grant Program – CLOSES TOMORROW 7/31/2020 at 5pm

iStar, The Vin Gopal Civic Association, in coordination with Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce, joined by sponsors JCP&L, Giuseppe ‘Joe Grillo’, New Jersey Resources, Senator Vin Gopal, Assemblymembers Eric Houghtaling & Joann Downey have established the Microbusiness Recovery Grant Program. This program will distribute grants $500 or $1,000 to businesses with four or fewer employees that have been severely impacted by COVID-19 and could most benefit from a grant. The application closes at 5:00 pm on July 31, 2020.

  • Monmouth County CARES Economic Assistance Grant Program for Small Businesses and Nonprofits – Applications Open Monday 8/3/20

On behalf of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley announced Monmouth County CARES, the Coronavirus Economic Assistance Grant Program for small businesses and nonprofits. Applicants should check the website for specific eligibility requirements at Before the online application process opens on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 8 a.m., please be prepared to submit information electronically through the application portal regarding the costs your business incurred due to COVID-19.

  • Governor Murphy Announces Main Street Commercial Corridors Relief - Applications Open Monday 8/10/20

Governor Phil Murphy announced a new relief program for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Small Business Lease - Emergency Assistance Grant Program (SBL-EAGP) will allow businesses in 64 eligible municipalities to apply for grants of up to $10,000 for lease costs. The program will assist small business owners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which also assists landlords, many of whom are also small businesses.

  • Garden State Relief Fund Small Business and Non-Profit COVID-19 Recovery Loans

Through a partnership with Urban Enterprise Zone, New Jersey Community Capital has launched the Garden State Relief Fund to offer working capital loans to small businesses and nonprofits negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
