In 1985 Byron graduated from the Asbury Park High School. He joined the US Army in 1986-1990 with an honorable discharge. Byron became an Asbury Park Police Officer in 1999. He’s been a School Resource Officer (SRO) for the Asbury Park Board of Education for approx. 20 years and currently.
He’s a member of the Asbury Park Police Department’s Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) program, The Asbury Park Police Department F.O.P. Union #221(Sergeant -at- Arms), Asbury Park City Recreation Committee, Asbury Park/Neptune American Legion #266, Community Based Volunteer Organization The Cazzeek Brothers, and Volunteer for the Asbury Park High School Football Programs (coach/nutrition).
Officer Young is a role model to the young men and women of Asbury Park and is dedicated to serving the community of Asbury Park.
